session at the CSI SX: Security Exchange on Tuesday, April 29th at 11 AM.

In his session, "Private Data Mining and Citizens' Rights," Lindell will present
a cryptographer's view of the tension between homeland security needs and the privacy
rights of individuals, and will show how advanced cryptographic techniques can enable
complex data mining tasks while preserving citizens' privacy. An open forum will
follow where attendees will be invited to discuss the social and technical implications
of national security and Constitutional rights.

Co-located with Interop Las Vegas and Software 2008, CSI SX will take place April
27 - May 2, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Speakers to CSI

An internationally recognized thought leader, Lindell serves as Chief Cryptographer
at Aladdin Knowledge Systems and an Assistant Professor at Bar-Ilan University in
Israel. Lindell attained a Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2002 and
spent two years at the IBM T.J.Watson research lab as a Postdoctoral fellow in the
cryptography research group. Lindell has carried out extensive research in cryptography,
and has published more than 50 conference and journal publications. In addition,
Lindell has published two books on the subject: the first titled "Composition of
Secure Multi-Party Protocols," and the second an undergraduate textbook titled "Introduction
to Modern Cryptography."

Lindell has presented at numerous international conferences, workshops and university
seminars including the RSA Security Conference, CSI Conference, the West Coast Security
Forum and Black Hat Briefings, and has served on program committees for top international
conferences in cryptography. In 2004, Lindell joined Aladdin Knowledge Systems as
Chief Cryptographer, where he has focused on the cryptographic and security issues
that arise in the design and construction of authentication schemes, smartcard applications,
software protection schemes and more. Offering a unique combination of academic
