Aladdin Chief Cryptographer to Speak at 10th Annual International West Coast Security Forum

(NASDAQ: ALDN), an information security leader specializing in authentication, software DRM and content security, today announced that Dr. Andrew Lindell, Aladdin's Chief Cryptographer, is scheduled to speak at the 10th Annual International West Coast Security Forum on Monday, November 19th from 2:10 to 3:15 p.m. at The Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Presenting a technical session titled, "Authentication Mechanisms: A Myriad of Options and Opportunities," Lindell is a renowned specialist in authentication methodologies and technologies. Lindell's session thoroughly examines the many authentication choices and how to match an organization's business needs with technology offerings – outlining the many options organizations can choose from and select for their appropriate level of authentication. An Assistant Professor at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, Lindell attained a Ph.D. at the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2002 and spent two years at the IBM T.J. Watson research lab as a Post-Doctoral fellow in the cryptography research group. Lindell has carried out extensive research in cryptography, and has published more than 40 conference and journal publications. He has authored two books: the first on secure cryptographic protocols, and the second an undergraduate textbook titled, "Introduction to Modern Cryptography."

In addition to his notable academic experience, he joined Aladdin Knowledge Systems in 2004. In his position as Chief Cryptographer, he has worked on cryptographic and security issues that arise in the design and construction of authentication schemes, smartcard applications, software protection schemes and more.
