Aladdin Names Industry Leaders and Customers to Software DRM Advisory Board

today announced that several prominent industry leaders and
Aladdin customers now serve on the Aladdin DRM Advisory Board
(ADAB), a group that contributes valuable insight and
recommendations for the direction of the software DRM market
and tools for success.

ADAB, formed in March, also provides vital feedback to Aladdin
management regarding the market-leading HASP family of software
DRM solutions which are consistently ranked the most commonly
used software protection, licensing and distribution products
worldwide. In addition to 10 HASP customers, Aladdin announces
the one-year appointment of three industry thought leaders to ADAB:

- Sally Hudson, research director, Security Products and Services
Group, IDC
- Fred Hoch, President, The Illinois Technology Association (ITA)
- John F. Andrews, President and CEO, Evans Data Corporation

Sally Hudson
Sally Hudson is a research director
within IDC's Security Products and Services group, focusing on identity and access
management (IAM) products. She analyzes and forecasts market trends and provides
expert insight and intelligence on the evolving security landscape. Additionally,
Ms. Hudson produces numerous in-depth annual research studies, and works with both
vendor and user clients to formulate and implement effective IT strategies. Ms.
Hudson has been a staple in the information technology industry since 1986. Prior
to joining IDC, she was a research analyst and regular columnist for Application
Development Trends Magazine. Over the years, Ms. Hudson's articles have appeared
in most major industry publications, including Computerworld, InformationWeek, Software
Magazine, Datamation, and the San Jose Mercury News. She is a regular speaker at
industry events, and has co-chaired industry trade shows.

Fred Hoch
Fred Hoch has served as President
of The Illinois Information Technology Association (ITA) since March 2005. The 400-member
company industry group serves members in Chicagoland and throughout Illinois and
exists to help grow the number of successful businesses that create, deploy and
utilize information technology as a core part of their organization. Hoch joined
ITA from the Washington, D.C.-based Software and Information Industry Association
(SIIA), where he served as vice president of software programs. In addition to ITA,
Hoch works with companies nationally to address emerging and strategic issues of
the software industry.

John F. Andrews
John F. Andrews is the President
and CEO of Evans Data Corporation. Andrews brings a successful and diverse business
background, having been CEO of several Information Technology based companies, both
private and public. Prior to his CEO assignments, he was CIO of CSX Corporation,
and was also a CIO and division President at several of GTE’s operations. Andrews
also has deep experience in market research, having been the CEO of Giga Information
Group before it was acquired by Forrester Research.
