Aladdin Launches HASP Developer Solutions Directory

Software developers using HASP software protection and licensing solutions armed with new resource for sharing unique, customizable solutions

CHICAGO, June 13, 2006 - Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN), the leader in Software DRM, identity management and content security solutions, today announced the launch of its online HASP Developer Solutions Directory. Designed for customers of Aladdin HASP software protection and licensing solutions, the new directory offers a collection of HASP implementations created by software developers as a resource for other software developers using HASP software DRM products. HASP customers can enrich the directory by sharing implementations developed to meet business and security requirements. Unique HASP implementations can be shared with other HASP users by completing the Technical Support Form located at the above link. Once submitted, the technical support team reviews the information and requests files for posting to the HASP Developer Solutions Directory.

Some of the helpful HASP tools listed in the directory include:

• HASP Memory Checksum implements a basic algorithm for demonstrating a method of enhancing the protection of HASP's memory contents.
• MP3 Files Protection demonstrates protection of MP3 and WAV audio files, demonstrating how to protect the player and encrypt the data files.
• Time and Net Keys Combined Protection demonstrates a simple method for combining network-based licensing and time-based licensing. A Time Manager application is used for the creation of a real-time clock within a HASP Net key. It retrieves the time and date values from HASP Time which is installed on the same computer.
