Aladdin Expands Software Anti-piracy Protection for .NET and Linux Applications

HASP HL V1.20 provides software vendors with enhanced software protection and powerful new features and additional platform support

CHICAGO, May 9, 2005 - Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALDN), today announced the availability of HASP HL V1.20, the latest version of Aladdin's market-leading HASP HL Software Digital Rights Management solution.

Software Digital Rights Management encompasses the protection, license management and secure delivery of software applications and intellectual property. The global leader in providing anti-piracy & flexible licensing solutions to software publishers, Aladdin adds a high level of protection for Microsoft's .NET application framework in the new HASP HL V1.20. The field-proven automatic HASP Envelope has been re-engineered to protect .NET applications. The HASP Envelope is the first tool on the market to implement the special class-level security features required for .NET applications and provides robust protection against illegal use, code debugging and reverse engineering.

In addition to protecting .NET applications, HASP HL 1.20 strengthens Aladdin's presence in the Linux market with full support for protecting 64-bit Linux applications, as well as including a Linux based License Manager for multi-user enterprise licensing.

The new release also contains the entire infrastructure necessary for publishers to create their own proprietary license generators, Web-based license generators, and remote licensing tools that easily integrate license information with their existing CRM and ERP systems. This along with many other key features can be found in the latest release of HASP HL 1.20.
