Aladdin Announces General Availability of AladdinCARD USB

New PCI card allows USB keys to be connected inside a computer – Ideal for large organizations, educational and industrial environments

CHICAGO, March 8, 2005 - Aladdin Knowledge Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ALDN), today announced the release of AladdinCARD USB, a PCI card that allows organizations to connect USB keys inside of a machine. The new AladdinCARD USB product offers a new level of durability and security to USB devices, such as the Aladdin HASP HL software copy protection device, making them less vulnerable to theft or loss due to their internal placement within the PC.

AladdinCARD USB is ideal for large organizations and educational and industrial environments where a USB key is typically more at risk of being damaged or stolen. It also offers manufacturers of combined hardware/software solutions, such as medical equipment and cash register products, a more secure method of storing a USB security device. The new PCI card also provides two additional external USB ports, adding convenience on top of added protection.
